Galway, County Galway, Ireland, February 2026 — Emer Mitchell has been promoted to Sr. Director, Human Resources – Sales at Genesys, advancing her leadership within the global AI-powered experience orchestration company.
In her new role, Emer will continue to shape and scale the people strategy for Sales, partnering with senior commercial leaders to enable performance, growth, and organizational effectiveness in a dynamic SaaS environment.
Prior to this promotion, Emer Mitchell served as HR Director – Global Sales at Genesys, where she partnered with Sales, Global Presales, Demand Generation, Global Partner Sales and Revenue Operations teams. Over more than five years at Genesys, she progressed through key HR leadership roles including Sr. HR Manager/HRBP, Sales and HR Manager/HRBP, supporting global teams during periods of hyper growth, transformation, and M&A activity. Her work has consistently blended data-driven talent strategy with leadership development and organizational design in fast-paced SaaS settings.
Before joining Genesys, Emer held HR leadership roles at Pivot Technology Services Corp., Corporate Catering Services Ltd, and IN-SYNC Group, where she strengthened HR operations and business partnering capabilities across diverse industries. Earlier in her career, she served as an HR Business Partner at Ericsson and Three Ireland, building deep expertise in telecommunications and technology environments.
Emer holds a Master of Business Studies in Human Resources & Industrial Relations from the University of Galway, further reinforcing her strong foundation in HR strategy and industrial relations.
