Lahore, Pakistan, March 2026 — Emirates Logistics has appointed Tallal M. Mir as General Manager Human Resources – Pakistan. Based in Lahore, Mir will lead the company’s HR agenda in Pakistan, supporting talent, workforce effectiveness, and people practices aligned with business growth across the logistics and supply chain ecosystem.
In his new role, Mir brings hands-on experience partnering with commercial and supply chain leadership teams, strengthening employee engagement, performance management, and talent programs in fast-paced operating environments. His transition to Emirates Logistics positions him to further build people capability, leadership development, and HR governance to support scalable operations and service excellence.
Before joining Emirates Logistics, Mir served at Dawn Foods Corp. Ltd. as Manager HR Business Partner – Commercial & Supply Chain (June 2024 to March 2026) in Lahore. There, he supported HR business partnering across core commercial and supply chain functions, contributing to people strategies that enable execution and operational alignment.
Earlier, he worked at Daraz as HR Business Partner – Pakistan Operations (September 2021 to June 2024). In this role, he advised leaders on talent and performance priorities, contributed to employee development initiatives informed by employee feedback, supported compensation and benefits policy refinement with compliance alignment, and collaborated with HR COEs to strengthen workplace culture and engagement.
Mir also served at Bank Alfalah Limited as Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition (May 2019 to September 2021) in Lahore, overseeing end-to-end recruitment for retail banking and head office roles, supporting lateral hiring pipelines, campus hiring initiatives, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory and internal policy requirements.
Earlier in his career, he was a Talent Acquisition Consultant at Abacus Consulting (April 2018 to May 2019), where he supported hiring across technical and non-technical roles, helped refine job descriptions and specifications, and engaged with universities through job fairs and speaker series to strengthen early talent pipelines. He began his career in talent acquisition with Standard Chartered Bank as Talent Acquisition Coordinator (May 2014 to August 2016) in Lahore, supporting recruiting operations, campus engagement, and reporting through structured TA tracking and ATS management.
