London, United Kingdom, September 2024 – Emma Rankine has been appointed as the Head of People Services EMEA at CBRE UK. In this role, she will oversee HR operations and drive organizational leadership initiatives across the EMEA region, ensuring best-in-class performance and a positive employee experience.
Career Journey: Prior to joining CBRE UK, Emma Rankine served as Senior Director, People Solutions Business Partner & European HR Operations Lead at Takeda for approximately 2 years and 6 months. In this position, she managed a cross-functional European operations team and optimized processes through the Global Process Champion Team.
Before Takeda, Emma was Director, European HR Transformation Lead (GBS HR Operations & Payroll) at Takeda for about 2 years and 1 month. She led the European People Solutions HR transformation, managing the transition of HR operational and payroll activities into a regionalized function support model.
Emma also held the role of Director, Employee Services (HR Operations & Payroll) Global Process and Program Owner at Shire for around 2 years. She was responsible for developing end-to-end enterprise-wide process capabilities and ensuring process optimization across the value chain.
Her experience also includes serving as Associate Director, Lead HR Services International at Shire for approximately 2 years, where she led the design and implementation of global HR services and managed vendor relationships.
Earlier in her career, Emma worked at RBC as Associate Director, Senior HR Services Manager for about 7 years and 4 months. She managed HR operations, payroll, and benefit administration in the UK, leading various service integrations and process improvements.
