Singapore, September 2025 – Samsung Southeast Asia & Oceania has appointed Emmanuel Viray as Head of People at its R&D Institute. In this role, he will lead people strategy, organizational development, and talent initiatives to strengthen Samsung’s innovation capabilities across the region.
Before joining Samsung, Emmanuel was Head of Organization Development and Human Resources at AMB-HK Pharmaceutical Group of Companies, where he spent over four years driving HR transformation and organizational growth.
Previously, he served as Corporate Head of Learning and Organization Development at Shakey’s Philippines (Shakey’s Pizza Asia Ventures, Inc.), where he designed leadership development and organizational learning frameworks to support business expansion.
He also spent nearly six years at Blaine Corporation, holding senior HR leadership roles including Head of Organization Development and Human Resources and Senior Manager for Training and OD, where he focused on people capability building and HR strategy.
Earlier in his career, Emmanuel worked at the Jollibee Group in Leadership and Organization Development and at China Bank in Organization and Employee Development, where he built foundational expertise in talent management and employee engagement.
