Dubai, United Arab Emirates, January 2026 — UD Trucks has announced the appointment of Enid Dias as Vice President – Human Resources, effective January 2026. In her new role, she will lead the organization’s global people strategy, workforce transformation, leadership development, and culture agenda across international markets as UD Trucks continues strengthening its position as a leading Japanese commercial vehicle solutions provider. Her appointment brings to UD Trucks a distinguished global HR leader with deep multi-regional automotive and industrial experience.
In her immediate prior role at UD Trucks, Enid served as Director HRBP – International Sales, where she partnered with leadership teams across global markets to strengthen workforce effectiveness, employee engagement, and people capability frameworks supporting international commercial operations.
Earlier, she served as Director – Human Resources at UD Trucks Technology in Japan, where she led people strategy for technology, engineering, and innovation functions, strengthening employee engagement, leadership capability, and organizational effectiveness across critical R&D and digital transformation teams.
Before joining UD Trucks, Enid built a highly impactful 15+ year career with Volvo Group Trucks Technology, where she held multiple senior HR leadership roles including Vice President – HR for the Americas, Director HR – APAC, and Director People & Culture – Processes & Projects. Across these roles, she shaped multi-country people strategies, talent frameworks, and leadership pipelines supporting large-scale manufacturing, engineering, and commercial operations across Asia Pacific, Japan, and the Americas.
At the beginning of her HR career, she gained foundational experience with Bosch India and General Motors, developing strong expertise in industrial HR, workforce relations, and employee engagement that later enabled her to scale HR leadership across complex global enterprises.
