Singapore, March 2025 – Eoin Henry has been elevated to Global Head of Human Resources (CHRO) at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® (CBTL), a key leadership role where he will lead the global people and culture strategy for the iconic coffee and tea brand. Reporting directly to the CEO, Eoin will oversee HR operations across more than 1,200 locations in 25+ international markets, from the company’s global headquarters in Singapore.
Eoin’s promotion follows an impactful tenure as Global Head of People Partners & Talent, where he led a global HR team spanning APAC and the US, covering business partnering, talent acquisition, people operations, and HR administration. Notably, he also served as Interim Global Head of HR for six months, during which he laid the groundwork for several talent and organizational culture initiatives.
Prior to joining CBTL, Eoin spent over four years at WeWork, initially as APAC Senior Director, Head of Talent & HR Business Partner, and later as APAC & EMEA Head of Talent, where he led a team of 25 HR professionals across 30 countries. His leadership was pivotal in growing the APAC business tenfold, managing organizational restructuring, and driving employee engagement through periods of high growth and transition.
Earlier in his career, Eoin served as Vice President of APAC Human Resources at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was responsible for recruitment strategy and HR business partnering for corporate functions. His early HR experience also includes nearly a decade at Hays, where he held multiple leadership roles in recruitment, P&L management, and talent acquisition across technology and finance divisions.
Eoin’s global perspective, developed through roles in Ireland, South Africa, and Asia, positions him uniquely to drive a people-first culture at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®, aligned with its heritage of quality and community.
