Clarkston, Michigan, United States, January 2026 — OWL Services, a leading sales, installation, compliance and service provider supporting fueling and EV charging infrastructure across North America, has promoted Eric Sandmire to the position of Vice President – People Operations.
In this expanded leadership role, Eric Sandmire will spearhead the company’s people operations agenda, strengthening workforce capability, HR governance, operational HR excellence, compliance systems, and employee engagement initiatives to support OWL Services’ continued growth across multiple service lines and nationwide locations.
Before this promotion, Eric served as People Operations Director – Petroleum and Fuel Compliance at OWL Services, where he played a key role in strengthening people systems for critical compliance-intensive operations.
Prior to OWL Services, he spent nearly 10 years with Oscar W. Larson Company (now part of OWL Services), progressing from HR Manager to Human Resources Director, delivering HR leadership across employee relations, workforce operations, talent programs, and organizational support for field and corporate teams.
Earlier in his career, Eric worked at Lafarge (Holcim) as a Human Resources Business Partner, supporting operational teams across cement, aggregates, and ready-mix business lines, with strong exposure to safety culture, compliance, investigations, and workforce planning.
He also built deep foundational expertise through progressive HR roles including Human Resources Generalist, Benefits Performance Specialist, Team Leader – HR Service Center, and Senior HR Specialist, along with earlier experience at BBDO as an HR Specialist, creating a well-rounded track record spanning benefits, HR operations, and business partnering.
