Portland, Oregon, USA – October 2024 – Erick Madrigal has taken on a new role as Vice President, Human Resources, Asia Pacific & Latin America at Nike. In this strategic position, Erick will lead the People Strategy across Nike’s most culturally diverse and rapidly expanding geography, focusing on talent management, cultural transformation, and organizational growth.
Before assuming this role, Erick served as Senior Director, Global Talent Management at Nike, where he spent nearly three years aligning global talent strategies with Nike’s broader business goals. In this role, he led organizational initiatives to strengthen talent pipelines and drive employee engagement across multiple regions.
Erick’s prior roles at Nike include Senior HR Director, Marketplace Partners & Connected Marketplace, and Senior HR Director, Latin America, where he played key roles in managing HR transformation projects, business strategy development, and supporting mergers & acquisitions. His efforts were instrumental in ensuring a seamless integration of HR operations across diverse markets.
Before joining Nike, Erick was associated with Mondelēz International, where he held various HR leadership positions for over 12 years. He served as Senior HR Director, Global Business Services, focusing on HR transformation, value realization, and strategic business alignment. He also led HR functions for global business transformation, chocolate & confectionery divisions, and total rewards across Europe & Latin America.
Erick began his HR career at Procter & Gamble, where he managed Total Rewards, Payroll, and HR Operations for over four years across Costa Rica and Cincinnati, Ohio.
