Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States, January 2026 — Genomenon has elevated Erin McCann to the role of Chief People Officer, recognizing her impactful leadership in building a strategic and people-centric HR framework. She had previously served as Head of People at the company since March 2024.
In her new capacity, Erin McCann will oversee Genomenon’s people and culture strategy as the company continues its rapid growth in the biotech and precision medicine space. As Head of People, she played a pivotal role in driving Genomenon’s talent strategy and scaling its global workforce in a mission-driven and inclusive environment. Her leadership contributed to Genomenon being named one of GenomeWeb’s “Best Places to Work” in both 2024 and 2025.
Prior to joining Genomenon, Erin served as Head of People Operations at 86 Repairs, where she built foundational people practices, doubling headcount and leading transformative initiatives in performance management, workforce planning, and leadership development.
Earlier in her career, she held the position of Senior Vice President / Head of People Operations at SevenFifty, where she led the company through Series B funding, multiple acquisitions, and a successful exit. She developed and implemented equitable compensation and DEI frameworks that became cornerstones of the organization’s people strategy.
Erin also led HR at Custora (now Amperity), where she was the first People Operations hire and instrumental in scaling the organization from 13 to over 100 employees before a successful exit. Her previous roles include client experience and leadership positions at organizations such as Collective[i], Undercurrent, St. Meyer & Hubbard, Denihan Hospitality Group, and Hilton.
She holds an Employment Law Certificate in HR Management from Cornell University, is a Graduate with Honors in Bank Marketing from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking, and completed her Bachelor’s in Communications with a minor in Event Planning from Western Illinois University.
