Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 – George Alex has taken on a new leadership role as Chief Growth Officer at Reliance Foundation Hospitals. In this role, he is responsible for driving strategic growth and pan-India expansion across new markets and hospitals, with a strong focus on world-class quaternary and tertiary care. He is leading initiatives in clinical excellence, advanced technology, patient-centric innovation, and scalable healthcare operations to position Reliance Foundation Hospitals among India’s most trusted global-standard multispecialty healthcare networks.
In his current role at Reliance Foundation Hospitals, George is steering enterprise growth strategy, market expansion, and operational scalability initiatives across the hospital network.
Prior to this appointment, he served as Regional COO – Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh at HealthCare Global, where he led regional operations, hospital expansion, and business growth initiatives across oncology and multispecialty healthcare facilities.
Earlier, George spent over seven years at Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre, where he held leadership roles as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, driving hospital operations, revenue growth, brand transformation, and service excellence.
Before that, he served as Head of Sales & Marketing at Fortis Healthcare, leading revenue growth and profitability for Raheja Fortis Hospital Mumbai.
His early leadership career includes growth and sales leadership roles at Etisalat DB Telecom, Videocon d2h, Bharti Airtel, and Hindustan Unilever, building deep expertise in business strategy, channel development, and revenue leadership.
George holds an MBA from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and has completed the Advanced Strategic Management Program from IIM Kozhikode.
