New York, United States, December 2025 – Fotini Barkas has been promoted to the role of Vice President at Blackstone, marking an important milestone in her leadership journey with the world’s largest alternative asset management firm. In her new role, she will continue to contribute to Blackstone’s investment governance, financial oversight, and portfolio stewardship functions.
Fotini Barkas has been associated with Blackstone for over four years, where she has progressed through increasing leadership responsibilities. Prior to her elevation to Vice President, she served as Assistant Vice President, contributing to financial controls, reporting excellence, and operational governance across Blackstone’s global investment platforms.
Before joining Blackstone, she built strong accounting and assurance leadership expertise at EY, where she served as Assurance Manager and earlier as Assurance Senior and Assurance Staff, working closely with global financial institutions and asset management firms.
Earlier in her career, she gained operational and financial management experience at Kirkiles & Kotiadis, LLP and Liberatos Village Hotel, strengthening her foundation in bookkeeping, compliance and operations.
She holds a Master of Science in Risk Management (Accounting) from Queens College, further strengthening her financial risk, governance and compliance expertise.
