New York City Metropolitan Area, March 2025 – Francisco Estrada has been appointed as Director of Talent Acquisition at BetMGM, a leading sports betting and gaming entertainment company. In his new role, Francisco will be responsible for shaping BetMGM’s talent acquisition strategies, driving executive search initiatives, and developing employer brand marketing efforts to attract top-tier talent that aligns with the company’s ambitious growth plans.
Prior to joining BetMGM, Francisco served as the Interim Leader, Talent Acquisition & Operations at Optimum, managing recruitment marketing, advertising, operations, and compliance. He collaborated closely with stakeholders to transition operations effectively while driving strategic talent initiatives.
Before Optimum, Francisco was the Talent Acquisition Director for Converse, Jordan, and Nike North America at Nike, where he spearheaded agile talent strategies across multiple high-profile brands and key markets, including New York and Los Angeles. He played a critical role in Nike’s North American market expansion, executing recruitment initiatives for Global Jordan and leading Converse’s hiring strategies during significant growth periods. Earlier at Nike, he served as Senior Manager and Senior Sourcer in DEI & Executive Talent Sourcing, overseeing executive recruitment across corporate functions.
Previously, Francisco held senior talent acquisition and diversity roles at prestigious organizations including Major League Soccer (MLS), where he served as Senior Director of Recruitment & Diversity, Univision Communications, where he established and led the company’s first in-house talent acquisition function as Director of Staffing & Development, and American Express, where he directed global diversity and inclusion programs.
Earlier in his career, Francisco contributed significantly to workforce strategy and diversity initiatives as Director of Workforce Strategy and Recruitment at Major League Baseball (MLB). He began his career in diversity and university relations at JPMorgan Chase, leading the firm’s strategic campus recruiting at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
Francisco holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, specializing in Strategy, Management, and Economics.
