California, United States, December 2024 – Gina Imbrenda has joined California Lutheran University as the new Executive Director of Human Resources, bringing over two decades of extensive HR leadership experience across diverse industries. In her new role, Gina will lead the university’s HR initiatives, focusing on advancing employee engagement, fostering a culture of inclusion, and aligning HR strategies with the university’s mission to educate leaders for a global society.
Prior to her appointment at California Lutheran University, Gina served as Vice President, Contract/Labor Management, Pension Health and Welfare, Payroll and Tax at Entertainment Partners, where she led strategic initiatives in labor management and employee benefits for over three years.
Before Entertainment Partners, Gina was Executive Director of Human Resources at Huntington Health, where she successfully oversaw HR operations for eight years, implementing innovative compensation and benefits programs and enhancing organizational performance.
Her earlier career includes pivotal roles such as Director, HRIS at St. Joseph Health System and Vice President, Human Resources Operations at DaVita Kidney Care, where she established foundational HR systems, managed large-scale budgets, and drove critical organizational transformations. Gina also contributed as an Independent Consultant at Pacific Sunwear, focusing on streamlining HR operations and improving service delivery.
