London, United Kingdom, March 2026 — GPE has announced Jayne Cottam has started a new position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Based in the London Area, Cottam will lead the finance function as GPE continues to advance its property investment and development strategy across central London.
Prior to joining GPE, Cottam served as CFO at Assura plc, where she spent more than eight years in the top finance leadership role. Her tenure at Assura plc reflects deep experience in financial governance, performance leadership, and supporting long-term value creation in a listed environment.
Before Assura plc, she held senior finance leadership roles at Morris Homes Ltd, including Finance Director Operations and Finance Director – North, contributing to finance leadership across operational and regional priorities.
Earlier in her career, Cottam spent nearly eight years at EMR, progressing through roles including Group Financial Controller and Director of Finance – Continental Europe, strengthening her experience across group control, multi-entity reporting, and international finance leadership. She also held finance leadership roles at Shearings Holidays, including Financial Controller – Group and Treasury, and began her professional journey in finance at Homestyle Group plc and Shearings Holidays.
