New York, New York, United States, March 2026 — Oscar Health has announced Kristen Prestano has started in a new position as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In this expanded leadership role, Prestano will shape Oscar’s marketing direction as the company continues to build brand relevance and drive engagement across its healthcare technology platform and family of companies.
Before taking on the Chief Marketing Officer mandate, Prestano served as Chief Communications Officer at Oscar Health, where she oversaw corporate communications spanning internal, external, and business communications, along with Brand, Design & Creative across Oscar’s broader ecosystem. Her work in that role positioned her at the center of narrative building, stakeholder communications, and creative strategy—capabilities that align closely with the remit of a modern CMO.
Prior to joining Oscar, Prestano was Managing Director, Head of Communications at Evernorth Health Services, the health services business of The Cigna Group, where she led enterprise-wide communications and executive communications for the organization’s President & CEO. Her scope covered complex, multi-business portfolios and high-visibility communications across employer, health plan, health system, and government stakeholders, alongside engagement with national and healthcare trade media.
Earlier in her career, she spent nearly five years with Cigna Healthcare in senior communications leadership roles, including Senior Director, Business and Executive Communications, and also contributed to the Cigna–Express Scripts merger team—supporting deal messaging, integration communications, and executive communications initiatives during a major industry-defining transaction.
Prestano previously built deep agency-side expertise at Prosek Partners, rising through roles to Vice President, where she managed integrated communications programs across reputation, crisis & issues management, investor relations, transactions, and digital/creative services while supporting business development and mentoring talent. She began her professional journey in marketing and communications roles with Emerald Expositions and Moffly Media, building a strong foundation in editorial, event marketing, and brand-support initiatives.
