New York, United States, September 2025 – J.P. Morgan has announced the appointment of Grant Markham as Vice President, Talent Acquisition – J.P. Morgan Private Bank, East Region. In this role, Markham will be responsible for leading recruitment strategies to attract and develop top talent across the Private Bank, supporting its continued growth and client-focused excellence.
Before joining J.P. Morgan, Markham was with Oliver James as Managing Consultant – Head of Private Banking & Wealth Management, where he advised clients across financial services and successfully placed senior talent into leadership roles. His expertise in aligning candidate potential with organizational objectives allowed him to deliver flexible and high-impact recruitment solutions.
Prior to Oliver James, Markham spent nearly three years with Selby Jennings, progressing to Principal Consultant – Buy Side Sales & Marketing. He also served as Senior Consultant for both Buy Side Sales & Marketing and Private Banking & Wealth Management, where he supported global clients including Tier 1 private banks, boutique wealth managers, and family offices. His work contributed to critical placements such as Chief Investment Officers, Senior Private Bankers, and Wealth Advisors across U.S. markets.
Earlier in his career, Markham built operational and business leadership experience outside financial services. He served as Northeast Regional Branch Manager at Niagara Machine, Inc. and as Territory Manager at Frommelt Equipment Company Inc. He began his career in the Sales Coordinator Program at Rite-Hite, gaining early exposure to structured programs that combined training and performance development.
