Mumbai, India, July 2024 – Gudakesh Kumar has begun his new role as Associate Director HR – Supply Chain & R&D at Kellanova. In this position, Gudakesh will lead human resources for the Supply Chain and R&D departments in the South Asia Business Unit, and he will also act as HR for the India team.
Gudakesh Kumar has been with Kellanova for over a year. Prior to his current role, he served as Associate Director HR – Sales, where he led sales HR initiatives for Kellanova South Asia.
Before joining Kellanova, Gudakesh held the position of Senior Manager HR at McCain Foods. In this role, he partnered with the leadership team to drive the people agenda for both the Commercial Food Service and Retail businesses, as well as Corporate functions. He also led Talent Management and Labour Compliance for the India business.
Gudakesh’s extensive HR experience includes his time at Abbott as Senior Manager Business HR and Manager Business HR, where he supported the leadership team of Specialty Care businesses and led diversity and inclusion initiatives. He also worked at HDFC Bank as a Human Resources Manager, handling HR activities for the Phonebanking business on a pan-India basis, and was instrumental in launching the Virtual Relationship Management desk.
Gudakesh began his HR career at CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited (Crompton Greaves) as Deputy Manager Human Resources, where he worked on various projects within the Centre of Excellence team, focusing on Talent Acquisition and Compensation & Benefits.
