United States, July 2024 – Monigo G. Saygbay-Hallie has been appointed as the new Chief People Officer (CPO) at Denny’s Corporation. In her new role, Monigo will lead people initiatives across Denny’s and Keke’s Breakfast Café, bringing over 20 years of expertise in human resources, talent management, and organizational development to the company.
Monigo Saygbay-Hallie joins Denny’s Corporation from Checkers & Rally’s Drive-In Restaurants, where she served as Chief People Officer. During her tenure, she was instrumental in leading HR functions, developing talent strategies, and enhancing organizational culture.
Before her role at Checkers & Rally’s, Monigo was an HR Venture Advisor at SemperVirens Venture Capital, providing strategic HR guidance and support to portfolio companies. She also served as a Board Member at Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County and the City of Frisco’s Social Services & Housing Board, contributing to community development and social services.
Her previous experience includes serving as Vice President of Human Resources (LTL) at XPO Logistics, Inc., where she led HR operations, talent acquisition, and employee engagement initiatives. Monigo has also held significant roles at Petmate, DaVita Kidney Care, Sysco, JCPenney, Centex Homes, Pizza Hut, and Yum! Restaurants International, where she gained extensive experience in executive management, strategic planning, and HR transformation.
