Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2025 – Gurpreet Singh has taken on the role of Head – Performance, Reward & HR Digitization at Schindler India, a global leader in elevators and escalators. In this new position, Gurpreet will lead key initiatives related to total rewards, performance transformation, and HR systems, helping align people strategies with the company’s legacy of precision, innovation, and people-centric values.
Prior to joining Schindler India, Gurpreet was DGM – HR Strategic Support Group at IBO, where he led HR shared services across IBO, KPN Farm Fresh, and Enrich Salon under WestBridge Capital, focusing on HR tech transformation and lifecycle management processes.
Before this, he spent nearly eight years at STL – Sterlite Technologies Limited, where he served in multiple leadership roles including Corporate HRBP, Head of Shared Services, and Lead – Talent Acquisition. He drove HR tech innovations, employee lifecycle excellence, and global delivery models for corporate functions.
Earlier, Gurpreet led HR operations for the West region at Landmark Group (MAX Retail Division), overseeing 27 stores and a regional workforce across Maharashtra and Gujarat. His previous experience also includes HR leadership roles at Sterlite Technologies Ltd. and JSW Steel Ltd., where he gained foundational experience in employer branding, HR operations, and people development.
