Tamil Nadu, India, March 2026 — HSBC has elevated Hariharasudan Sundaramoorthy to the role of Senior Vice President – Global Network Banking, marking another milestone in his long-standing career with the global banking institution.
In his new role, Sundaramoorthy will focus on strengthening relationship management and expanding HSBC’s global network banking capabilities, supporting clients through the bank’s extensive international network and financial solutions.
Prior to this elevation, he served as Senior Vice President & Team Manager at HSBC, where he led relationship management initiatives and supported the bank’s commercial banking operations. His leadership contributed to strengthening client engagement and delivering strategic banking solutions for corporate clients.
Earlier in his career, Sundaramoorthy briefly served as Associate Director at Standard Chartered Bank, where he worked on client relationship management and banking solutions before returning to HSBC to continue his leadership journey.
He previously spent over eight years with HSBC, holding positions including Vice President and Associate Vice President, where he played a key role in managing corporate banking relationships and supporting the bank’s commercial banking portfolio in India.
Before these roles, he worked with DBS Bank as Senior Relationship Manager, where he developed strong expertise in relationship management and corporate banking services. He began his banking career with HSBC Commercial Banking as a Relationship Manager, building foundational experience in client engagement and financial advisory.
