Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2024 – Haripall S. Mann is promoted to the role of Chief Marketing and Distribution Officer (LPG Retail Business) at Aegis Logistics Limited. This new position brings greater accountability and the opportunity to elevate the business to new heights, thanks to the support of colleagues and partners throughout his journey.
Haripall S. Mann has been with Aegis Logistics Limited for over 12 years, most recently serving as Vice President and HOD. In this role, he managed and expanded three key business verticals with a revenue of approximately 400Cr pa, overseeing packed business, retail outlets, and bulk industrial business. He also managed the setup, expansion, and operations of bottling plants, and directed marketing and brand communication for the group. Additionally, he was responsible for managing a team of around 300 people, overseeing a network of 110+ retail outlets, 300+ distributors, 3000+ distribution shops, and more than 20000+ customers.
Prior to joining Aegis Logistics, Haripall was VP & Head – Agency Development (Partner Channel) at Aegon Life for 4 years and 7 months. He joined the organization at its inception and was instrumental in developing the entire agency strategy and system support. His responsibilities included managing five key portfolios: sales technology, channel development, R&R and PMS, sales operations, and sales hiring. He played a crucial role in driving business through the agency partners channel, overseeing four zones and over 70 branches across the country.
At ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited, Haripall served as Vice President – Channel Development for 1 year and 3 months. Initially joining as Zonal Manager for Channel Development for South and West, he quickly advanced to a pan-India responsibility and was promoted to Vice President. His duties involved managing new unit manager handholding, agent recruitment initiatives, pipeline efficiencies for recruitment, and liaising with the Indian Institute of Insurance, IRDA, and other regulatory training vendors.
In his role as Regional Manager at Max Life Insurance Company Limited, Haripall launched and handled a network of 18 branches in the emerging markets of Punjab. Over his 3-year tenure, he managed a team of more than 200 people and 2000+ advisors, significantly contributing to the company’s expansion and growth in the region.
Prior to these roles, Haripall held significant positions at Shell and Apollo Tyres Ltd. At Shell, he served as an Area Sales Manager for 5 years, creating and managing the retail distribution network for lubricants across multiple states. At Apollo Tyres Ltd, he was a District Manager for 4 years and 4 months, developing and managing the distribution network for tyres in the North MP region and overseeing a profit center with an annual business turnover of around 14Cr.
