Gurugram, Haryana, India, February 2025 – Harkaran Singh Cheema has been appointed as Vertical HR Head for Gold Loans at Capri Global Capital Ltd., bringing a wealth of experience in talent acquisition, HR strategy, employee engagement, and performance management. In this role, he will oversee HR functions for the Gold Loan vertical, focusing on strengthening workforce strategies, talent management, and employee-centric initiatives to drive operational efficiency.
Prior to joining Capri Global Capital Ltd., Harkaran Singh Cheema served as Head – Talent Acquisition & HRBP at IIFL Home Loans, where he led recruitment strategies, employee engagement initiatives, and HR analytics for over three years.
He spent over eight years at YES BANK, progressing from Senior Manager to Senior Vice President in Human Capital Management (HCM). His tenure included leading HR business partnerships, talent management, and organizational development initiatives, contributing significantly to workforce planning and leadership development.
Before transitioning to corporate HR, Harkaran Singh Cheema served as a Captain and Lieutenant in the Indian Army for five years, where he honed leadership, strategic planning, and people management skills—a foundation that continues to influence his HR leadership approach.
