Worli, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 – Matix Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited has appointed Harminder (M) Bareja as Chief Human Resources Officer, Administration, and CSR. In his new role, Harminder will lead strategic HR initiatives, strengthen administrative frameworks, and steer the company’s CSR vision, aligning with Matix’s rapid expansion in the crop nutrition sector.
Prior to this, Harminder served for nearly seven years as CHRO, Admin, and CSR at Ion Exchange, where he played a vital role in transforming the people strategy at one of India’s most reputed water management companies. His leadership focused on strategic human resources, compensation, and benefits frameworks, contributing significantly to business transformation.
Previously, he worked as Vice President – Human Resources at India Power Corporation Limited for over a year, where he led the HR function and implemented key strategies around leadership and workforce development.
In his tenure of more than six years at Reliance Infrastructure EPC, Harminder rose to the position of Additional Vice President, driving initiatives across talent mobility, performance systems, and recognition frameworks. His efforts earned him multiple HR Strategy Awards and featured publications on innovative manpower redeployment practices.
Earlier, he served in leadership roles at Arshiya International, Reliance Retail, Pearl Global, and Abhishek Industries (Trident Group), where he successfully implemented performance management systems, large-scale recruitment initiatives, and cultural transformation programs. With a career spanning over two decades, Harminder brings a rich blend of experience in industrial relations, legal compliance, and capability development.
