Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, July 2025 – Shalom Christian has been promoted to Associate Vice President – Corporate HR at Arvind Limited, marking a significant milestone in his 13-year journey with the organization. In her new role, Shalom will oversee strategic corporate HR initiatives across group functions, including talent management, HR technology, organizational development, and leadership capability building.
During her tenure at Arvind Limited, Shalom has held progressive roles, most recently serving as General Manager – People Capability, OD, HR Tech & Projects, where she led high-impact programs around leadership development, HR digitization (including Oracle HCM and Darwinbox implementation), talent assessment, and diversity & inclusion. Prior to that, as Chief Manager – Talent Management and Corporate HR, she was instrumental in steering performance management, succession planning, and policy governance at the group level.
Earlier in her tenure at Arvind, Shalom also contributed as Chief Manager – Talent Management and Senior Manager – Human Resources, where she played a pivotal role in enhancing employee engagement, middle-to-senior-level talent initiatives, and workforce planning.
Before joining Arvind, Shalom served as Manager – HR at Texspin Bearings Ltd, handling core HR responsibilities for the Greater Ahmedabad region. She also held leadership roles at IMS People Possible as Team Manager – Human Capital Advisory, and began her professional journey as a Sr. Recruitment Consultant at Havoc Consultants Pvt. Ltd, focusing on engineering, manufacturing, and infrastructure talent mandates.
Shalom holds an Executive Certificate in Human Resource Management from XLRI Jamshedpur, further strengthening his expertise in strategic HR leadership.
