Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2026 – Workday has announced the appointment of Sagar Mehta as Sales Director, marking a significant addition to its leadership team in India. With extensive experience across customer experience, CRM, digital transformation, and enterprise technology solutions, Sagar brings deep expertise in helping organizations scale through technology-led business transformation.
Commenting on his new role, Sagar shared that after an enriching journey in the CX and CRM ecosystem, he is excited to apply his experience in a new environment and continue supporting businesses through innovative enterprise solutions. He also highlighted the importance of combining strong technology capabilities with a people-first culture, noting that his move to Workday aligns closely with those values.
Before joining Workday, Sagar Mehta spent over five years with Oracle, where he most recently served as Country Sales Director – Oracle Customer Experience Business in India. In this role, he led the CX business across the country, driving large enterprise deals, recurring revenue growth, renewals, and strategic collaborations with partners, pre-sales, and sales teams.
During his tenure at Oracle, he also held the role of Director – Solutions Engineering, CX Applications, where he contributed to enterprise customer engagement and digital transformation initiatives across industries.
Prior to Oracle, Sagar worked with Adobe as Digital Strategist, partnering with leading Indian conglomerates and brands to support their digital transformation journeys. His work involved advising senior management on digital analytics, content management, campaign management, commerce, personalization, and customer data platform capabilities aligned with business KPIs.
Earlier in his career, Sagar spent nearly five years with Flytxt in multiple leadership positions including Engagement Director – Vodafone India, Head – Specialized Consulting, and Principal Marketing Consultant. He led large consulting and delivery teams, developed transformation strategies for telecom operators, and supported business growth through innovative customer value management and analytics-driven solutions.
His professional journey also includes leadership roles with Idea Cellular, Tata Docomo Business Services, and Reliance Communications, where he managed product and business portfolios across telecom services and customer engagement functions.
