Houston, Texas, United States, August 2026 — Ashley English Ward has joined Noble Corporation as Regional Head of Human Resources – US Gulf and Guyana, taking on responsibility for HR leadership across two strategically important operating regions.
In her new role, Ashley will bring her experience in regional HR strategy, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee relations, leadership development, and workforce analytics to support Noble Corporation’s operations across the US Gulf and Guyana. Her appointment strengthens the company’s people leadership as it continues operating across complex offshore drilling environments.
Before joining Noble Corporation, Ashley spent more than six years with Amazon, progressing through several HR roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, she served as Regional HR Manager – Multi-Site Operations, leading HR strategy for a multi-site and multi-state network supporting approximately 3,500 employees. She advised senior business leaders on workforce planning, succession strategy, organizational design, retention, engagement, and operational stability.
In that role, Ashley also led and developed teams of HR leaders, including HR Business Partners and Senior HR Business Partners. She held accountability for regional workforce metrics and used data-driven interventions to improve attendance, reduce attrition, strengthen employee experience, and stabilize underperforming business units.
Earlier at Amazon, she served as HR Manager – Senior Human Resources Business Partner, supporting employee engagement strategy across four locations and more than 6,500 employees. She led annual talent calibrations and succession planning for approximately 500 salaried employees, managed a team of 13 HR professionals, and partnered with senior leaders on complex employee relations, inclusion, and organizational health matters.
Ashley previously worked as an HR Business Partner and Senior Human Resources Assistant at Amazon, building experience across retention, performance management, investigations, HR operations, employee engagement, policy compliance, and multi-site workforce support.
Before Amazon, she served as Senior HR Generalist at Apache Corporation, where she supported approximately 500 exempt and non-exempt employees across industrial field operations in the Texas–New Mexico region. Her responsibilities included benefits administration, compliance training, payroll support, onboarding, performance management, disciplinary processes, and terminations.
Ashley also spent more than four years with Chevron, holding roles including Global Talent Specialist – Workforce Planning and Program Specialist – Enterprise Workforce Development. She supported global workforce analysis, internal recruitment, leadership development, capability assessment, succession planning, and process improvement initiatives across business units and functions.
Earlier in her career, Ashley worked with Apollo Group as Lead Advisor – Regional Alumni Team, where she led a team of advisors, supported recruitment and student retention strategies, and contributed to enrollment and revenue growth across the Central United States.
