Axtria Inc., a global frontrunner in cloud-based software and data analytics services for the life sciences sector, has officially announced the inauguration of its ninth global Innovation and Capability Centre in Hyderabad, India, on March 12, 2024. Spanning an expansive 76,000 square feet, the Hyderabad centre is Axtria’s largest office in India, located in the prestigious DLF Cyber City, Gachibowli. The facility is designed to be inclusive for differently-abled individuals and boasts a LEED Platinum certification from the USGBC, recognizing its adherence to the highest standards of sustainable practices and environmental consciousness in modern workplace design. Furthermore, the centre’s commitment to sustainability is underscored by its zero-water waste initiative, earning it a Green Star Rating from GRESB.

Jaswinder Chadha, President and CEO of Axtria, expressed enthusiasm about the new office’s launch, highlighting the company’s dedication to leveraging India’s rich talent pool and reinforcing its commitment to growth, innovation, and the life sciences industry.

The new centre in Hyderabad underscores Axtria’s strategic initiative to expand its talent base and capabilities, following a sustainable approach in scaling its operations. In 2023, Axtria embarked on a robust hiring spree, adding around 700 associates across various domains including data science, software development, and data engineering. Looking ahead, the company aims to hire nearly 800 professionals globally in the coming 9-12 months, with a focus on emerging generative AI strategies for the life sciences sector.

Manish Mittal, Head of Global Delivery at Axtria and India Country Head, remarked on the strategic significance of Hyderabad as a burgeoning tech hub, fueled by economic and infrastructural advancements. Axtria’s expansion into Hyderabad is poised to open new avenues for the local tech community, offering opportunities to contribute to global innovation in the life sciences domain.

Axtria’s recent expansions in Noida, Pune, and now Hyderabad signal the company’s ongoing commitment to creating job opportunities and tapping into India’s dynamic and skilled workforce.
