Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 — Harshal Shah has joined DTDC Express Limited as Chief of Staff, marking a strategic addition to the company’s leadership team. In this pivotal role, he will work closely with the executive leadership to drive organizational transformation, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment across DTDC’s rapidly expanding logistics ecosystem.
Before joining DTDC, Harshal served as Senior Manager – Strategy & Consulting at Accenture, where he led initiatives across the Transportation, Logistics, Freight & Parcels sectors as part of the Global Network Practice. His work focused on business transformation, go-to-market execution, and digital strategy for clients navigating the future of global logistics.
Prior to Accenture, he operated as an Independent Management Consultant, spearheading projects in growth strategy, organizational transformation, marketing solutions, and digital enablement. His ability to integrate strategy with execution helped businesses optimize market positioning and scale sustainably.
A significant portion of his career — over 15 years — was spent at FedEx, where he held multiple senior leadership roles including Senior Manager – Commercial Strategy, Revenue Management & Pricing (MEISA) and Country Head – Strategic Marketing & Research, Product Development and Business Transformation (India). During his tenure, he led strategic growth initiatives across India, the Middle East, and Africa, developed pricing frameworks, managed multimillion-dollar portfolios, and launched several new product and technology-driven business transformation programs. His leadership was instrumental in aligning cross-functional teams and fostering innovation through data-driven decision-making.
Before FedEx, Harshal began his career with SKF India, where he gained early experience in corporate strategy and business development. He was among the first non-engineering management trainees in the company’s history, contributing to business intelligence, market analysis, and employee engagement programs. He also held early professional assignments with HDFC Bank and KNITEX Textiles Pvt. Ltd., where he built foundational experience in sales, market research, and customer engagement.
