Hyderabad, Telangana,India, March 2026 — Broadridge has appointed Harvinder Gill as Executive Vice President (EVP). In this role, he joins the organisation’s leadership as it continues to strengthen technology and operational resiliency for clients across the financial services ecosystem.
With this move, Harvinder Gill brings deep experience across cybersecurity engineering, enterprise security platforms, and building high-performing security organisations. His background reflects extensive leadership in driving security strategy, governance, and execution across complex, global technology environments.
Before joining Broadridge, Harvinder Gill served as Vice President, Cyber Security at State Street, where he built and scaled a Global Capability Centre and Cyber Center of Excellence in India and established it as a strategic hub for global cybersecurity engineering and 24/7 operations. His responsibilities included leading enterprise-wide security engineering products and platforms across cloud security, DevSecOps, identity and access management, application security, security operations, product development, and third-party/vendor security risk management, while also driving governance of cybersecurity standards and cyber SDLC processes. He partnered with global technology and application engineering teams to define and execute security strategies aligned with business objectives, including implementation of a Zero Trust security framework, and built high-performing cyber engineering teams focused on resilience and technical excellence.
Earlier, he worked with Microsoft as Senior Manager – Digital Security Risk Engineering, where he contributed across strategy, roadmap, engineering and program leadership priorities spanning device health, digital resilience and security posture, telemetry-based risk mitigation, cloud security and vulnerability management, and data loss prevention controls. His experience also included security product and tools development, third-party security, vendor management, and talent development through mentoring and coaching.
Prior to Microsoft, Harvinder Gill served at DXC Technology as Engineering Manager – Cyber Security, where he led cybersecurity engineering services, delivered cyber and IT security projects and operations, and established offshore cyber capability. His responsibilities spanned infrastructure security, endpoint security, SIEM, vulnerability management, incident management, threat readiness, governance, risk and compliance services, and broader security service delivery obligations.
Earlier in his career, he worked with Wipro Ltd. – India as Technical Consultant – Managed Security Services, contributing to SOC establishment and gap assessments, security architecture and policy frameworks, vulnerability management and application security programs, perimeter security solutions, ISO 27001 framework implementation, security documentation and reviews, presales consulting, and stakeholder support across delivery environments. He also began his career as a Security Engineer at R Systems, focusing on perimeter and gateway security device management and technical support.
In addition to his professional experience, Harvinder Gill pursued business and product-focused education, including a Product Management program at the Indian School of Business and an MBA from Sunstone.
