Zurich, Switzerland – Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund, Switzerland’s largest retail company and supermarket chain, is pleased to announce the promotion of Heidi Adams to Head of HR-Core Applications. This new role marks a significant milestone in Adams’s illustrious career within the company, reflecting her deep expertise and substantial contributions to the HR technology and applications domain over the past six years.
Heidi Adams has been an integral part of Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund since joining the company, showcasing remarkable skill and dedication in each role she has undertaken. Prior to her promotion, Adams served as the Product Owner for SAP HR from February 2022 to March 2024, where she played a pivotal role in overseeing the strategic direction and operational excellence of the company’s SAP HR systems.
Her journey with Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund began as an SAP Consultant HR in March 2019, a role she excelled in for nearly three years. In this capacity, Adams was instrumental in implementing, optimizing, and maintaining SAP HR solutions, thereby enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes within the company. Her efforts significantly contributed to streamlining operations and improving the overall employee experience.
Before her tenure at Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund, Adams accumulated a wealth of experience at Hapimag, a leading vacation ownership service provider. Over seven years, she developed a strong foundation in HR systems as an SAP HCM Consultant and was involved in the rollout of material management and POS software across Hapimag’s holiday resorts in various countries, including Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, and Turkey.
