Boston, Massachusetts, United States, July 2025 – Heidi Pickett has been appointed as the Chief Business Officer at The Tie, a leading provider of digital asset information services serving the institutional finance and crypto sectors. In her new role, Heidi will be responsible for spearheading business growth across the company’s three core verticals: Institutional Services, Data Redistribution, and Corporate Access.
Heidi steps into this role after more than three years at The Tie, where she served as Chief of Staff and Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, overseeing key strategic programs and executive operations. Her tenure played a pivotal role in strengthening The Tie’s market presence and expanding its services for institutional clients, token issuers, and trading platforms.
Before joining The Tie, Heidi held the role of Chief of Staff at Algorand, where she led strategic partnerships and executive coordination in the blockchain space. Her experience also includes an impressive 9-year tenure at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where she served as Assistant Dean for the Master of Finance Program and led the program’s global expansion and curriculum innovation.
Earlier in her career, she spent nearly 18 years at State Street, rising through various leadership roles including Senior Managing Director and Head of Global Business Integration, Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer, and Vice President in the Office of the CFO. She has deep expertise in business integration, financial strategy, and institutional relationship development.
