Basel, Switzerland, April 2025 – Helen Odell has taken on the role of Global Head of Talent Management at Novartis, further strengthening the pharmaceutical giant’s commitment to developing high-impact, people-first strategies for global talent growth, mobility, and leadership.
With over eight years at Novartis, Helen brings a wealth of experience in rewards, global mobility, and people and culture. In her new role, she will lead the organization’s global talent management strategy—focusing on fostering internal mobility, leadership development, succession planning, and creating a cohesive employee experience that supports innovation and business transformation across the company’s international footprint.
Prior to this appointment, Helen served as Head Rewards Global Programs & Processes and Global Head Rewards Solutions, where she was instrumental in driving policy transformation and global alignment in compensation and benefits. She also led Global Mobility and Global Mobility Operations, creating frameworks that supported cross-border collaboration and career development at scale.
Before joining Novartis, Helen held key leadership roles in Global Mobility Transformation at Deloitte, where she spent nearly nine years supporting multinational organizations across the UK and Switzerland in mobility strategy, process optimization, and HR transformation. Her career began with expatriate tax and HR advisory work, giving her a robust foundation in compliance, people practices, and international workforce dynamics.
