Bangalore, Karnataka, India – October 2024 – Helena Kuylenstierna has been appointed as the Director for H&M India, bringing extensive experience from her tenure with H&M, where she has served in several key global and regional roles. In her new position, Helena will lead H&M’s operations across India, focusing on expanding the brand’s market presence and driving strategic growth initiatives in the region.
Helena has been with H&M for over seven years, most recently serving as the Regional Manager/CEO of H&M India. Prior to this role, she was the Global BU Director for H&M Kidswear, where she led the global business strategy, assortment development, and operations for the brand’s kidswear segment. Her expertise in building global categories was also demonstrated during her tenure as the Global Assortment Manager for Kidswear, where she managed product strategy and alignment across multiple markets.
Before these global roles, Helena held the position of Global Division Head for Girlswear at H&M’s head office in Stockholm. Additionally, she was Head of Buying & Production at ARKET, a sister brand of H&M, where she was responsible for streamlining buying and production processes. Her earlier experience includes roles as Global Purchasing Manager for Children & Sport in Shanghai, Section Head & Buyer for Ladies Classic & Sport departments at H&M, and as a Sales Advisor in retail in Sweden.
