Kalol, Gujarat, India, September 2025 – Hemant Singh Fauzdar has joined Oswal Industries Limited as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role, he will spearhead strategic human resources initiatives, strengthen talent and leadership pipelines, and drive a performance-oriented culture to support the company’s ambitious growth journey. He expressed gratitude to Mr. Jitendra Bokadia (Managing Director) and Mr. Ravi Doshi (Joint Managing Director) for placing their trust in him and offering the opportunity to contribute to Oswal Industries’ inspiring journey.
Before joining Oswal Industries, Hemant served as Joint General Manager at Havells India Ltd for over two years, where he played a vital role in strengthening HR processes and aligning workforce strategies with business objectives in the manufacturing sector.
Earlier, he was the CHRO (Group HR Head) at Mayur Uniquoters Limited, where he delivered impactful results such as reducing overtime costs by 83%, saving ₹15 lakhs per month, and cutting recruitment costs by 70% without compromising on talent quality. He successfully implemented SAP HR modules in collaboration with PwC and Tata Technologies, improved employee engagement through town halls and surveys, and negotiated long-term union settlements that saved ₹1 crore annually.
Prior to this, Hemant was CHRO (Group General Manager – HR) at Willowood Chemicals, where he led HR efforts for a greenfield project in Dahej, Gujarat, and established HR frameworks for new and existing operations. He reduced hiring costs significantly, resolved over 130 labor court cases without additional expenses, and introduced leadership training programs and competency mapping to foster talent development.
Hemant also gained valuable experience at Sun Pharma as Senior Manager – HR & ER, where he focused on compliance, gender diversity, and structured grievance mechanisms, and at Yokohama India as Department Manager – Corporate HR, where he set up HR systems for a greenfield project, introduced large-scale skill development programs, and successfully negotiated productivity-linked settlements with unions. His earlier roles at Punj Lloyd Limited and DB Corp Ltd. provided him with a strong foundation in HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement across diverse industries.
He holds an Executive Diploma in HRM (EDHRM) from XLRI Jamshedpur and an MSW in Human Resource Management from Udaipur School of Social Work, which have equipped him with advanced expertise in strategic HR leadership, change management, and workforce transformation.
