Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark, Denmark, December 2025 — Henrik Ranzau Hansen has joined Novo Nordisk as Senior Vice President, Global P&O Services & Operations, marking a significant leadership addition as the organization continues to advance its purpose of driving change to defeat serious chronic diseases. In his new role, Hansen will oversee global People & Organisation services and operations, contributing to the company’s mission-driven growth and transformation agenda.
In his most recent role prior to joining Novo Nordisk, Henrik Ranzau Hansen served as SVP Global Head of People Services & HR Transformation at Haleon, where he led large-scale global people services, HR transformation initiatives, and digital modernization across geographies. His work focused on integrating emerging technologies with people operations to create scalable and future-ready HR service models.
Before Haleon, Hansen spent nearly a decade at Philips, holding several senior global leadership roles including Vice President, Global Head of Integrated People Services and Global Head of HR Services & Solutions. During this period, he carried enterprise-wide responsibility for global HR operations, HR compliance and data privacy, HR M&A integration, analytics and reporting, payroll, HR IT, vendor management, and large transformation programs, managing complex global shared services environments.
Earlier in his career, Hansen built deep expertise at Medtronic, where he served as Director – Global Head of HR Information Technology and in multiple HRIS leadership roles covering Europe, emerging markets, and Canada. He also held HR transformation and HRIT roles at Zurich Financial Services and Nestlé, contributing to global SAP HR implementations, process standardization, and enterprise HR architecture. He began his professional journey as a Business Consultant at ARINSO International (now Alight), working on global HR technology and change management programs for leading multinational clients.
Henrik Ranzau Hansen holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Lincoln.
