Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, April 2025 – Henry Capello has joined Dentsply Sirona as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In this global role, Henry leads the cybersecurity strategy for the dental technology giant, securing digital infrastructure across 120+ countries and embedding security as a strategic enabler of innovation, compliance, and customer trust.
Prior to this, Henry served for over six years as VP and Global Chief Information Security Officer at Albemarle Corporation, where he led cybersecurity and IT operations for the Fortune 500 chemical company. During his tenure, he architected global risk mitigation frameworks, pioneered cloud transformations, and developed AI-driven innovation strategies—all while maintaining a record of zero breaches.
Before Albemarle, he was CISO and Principal Research Engineer at Stephenson Technologies Corporation, a federally funded R&D center. There, he built advanced cyber ranges, led large-scale incident response exercises, and developed mission-critical solutions for federal clients such as the Air Force and Navy, while also helping shape cybersecurity education pipelines in partnership with LSU.
Earlier, Henry held the position of Managing Director at Stephenson Disaster Management Institute, where he integrated cybersecurity into traditional disaster management. He spearheaded data-driven resilience programs and built a pioneering Joint Cyber Range and Training Center simulating real-world IT/OT environments for practitioner readiness.
Throughout his military career, Henry played vital roles in the Louisiana National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve, including serving as Cyber Operations Chief and Exercise Branch Chief. He designed and executed cyber functional exercises, validated Cyber Protection Teams, and built elite training environments that aligned with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and national security objectives.
