Nitu Bhushan Appointed as Head, Human Resources at Nestlé India

Gurugram, Haryana, India, December 2025 – Nestlé India has announced the appointment of Nitu Bhushan as Head, Human Resources, effective March 2, 2026. The appointment is part of a broader leadership reshuffle within the FMCG major, with Manish Tiwary assuming the position of MD & Chairman, and further transitions expected across finance and technical leadership in 2026.

Prior to joining Nestlé India, Nitu Bhushan served as Chief Human Resources Officer – South Asia at Pernod Ricard, where she led HR and administrative functions for one of the company’s largest global affiliates. She played a pivotal role in enhancing the organization’s people experience and leadership culture across geographies.

Earlier, she spent over five years at Abbott, where she held multiple leadership roles including Regional HR Director – Established Pharmaceuticals Division, India and Director – HR, Abbott India Limited. In these roles, she oversaw HR operations for over 10,000 employees and led initiatives in succession planning, talent management, and HR strategy execution across divisions.

Before Abbott, Nitu was associated with Mondelēz International as Head – Talent Acquisition for India and multiple Asia Pacific markets including Indonesia, Philippines, Japan, and ANZ. She was instrumental in building an agile recruitment infrastructure, transitioning sourcing to in-house operations, and leading key strategic workforce programs.

Earlier in her career, she held progressive leadership roles at HSBC, including Senior Vice President – HR Relationship, Vice President – Strategic Resourcing, and Resourcing Transformation Workstream Lead – Asia Pacific, where she worked across India and Hong Kong leading pan-regional talent and restructuring initiatives.

Her HR journey began at Asian Paints as Manager – Corporate HR and HR Lead for the International Business Unit, and she started her career at Accenture in recruitment. She holds a Master’s Degree in Personnel Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.
