Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, April 2026 — Dineshchandra Group has announced the appointment of Deepak Agrawal as Chief Business Officer (CBO), marking a strategic leadership addition as the organization continues to strengthen its presence across infrastructure and emerging sectors.
In his new role, Deepak will be responsible for driving revenue growth, strategic planning, and operational efficiency, while leading business expansion across key sectors such as highways, bridges, airports, railways, energy, renewables, water, defence, technology, and urban infrastructure.
Deepak brings over three decades of extensive leadership experience across infrastructure development, asset management, and large-scale project execution. He most recently served as Head of Asset Management (Roads O&M) at Adani Group, where he led operations for road infrastructure assets, ensuring performance optimization and operational excellence across projects.
Prior to this, he was Chief Executive Officer at Swarna Tollway Pvt Ltd (Macquarie Group), where he led the company through a significant phase of transformation, including asset monetization, strategic divestment, and operational optimization. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in managing large infrastructure assets, improving operational efficiencies, and delivering strong financial outcomes.
Earlier, Deepak served as Vice President – Highways BOT PPP & EPC at KMC Construction, where he led large-scale infrastructure projects and was instrumental in closing high-value acquisition deals and driving strategic growth initiatives within the organization.
He also held senior leadership roles at IVRCL, Rithwik Projects, and Totem Infrastructure, managing large portfolios of infrastructure projects, followed by key positions at John Laing, GMR Group, HCC, AFCONS, Larsen & Toubro, and Essar Projects, where he built deep expertise in project planning, contract management, PPP models, risk management, and infrastructure development.
Across his career, Deepak has demonstrated strong capabilities in business strategy, deal-making, mergers & acquisitions, and large-scale project leadership, making him a valuable addition to Dineshchandra Group’s leadership team.
