Finland, June 2024 – Tarja Leinonen has joined YIT – Urban Developer and Construction Company as the new Head of People Operations and Services. With a strong background in human resources and extensive experience at YIT, Tarja is set to lead the company’s HR operations and services.
Tarja Leinonen has been with YIT for over 12 years, holding various roles that have contributed to her expertise in human resources. Prior to her current position, she served as an HR Manager for two and a half years, focusing on compensation and benefits in Finland. Before this, she was an HR Manager for six years, overseeing employment relations, compensation, and benefits.
Tarja also held the position of Industrial Relations Manager for nearly ten years, where she managed employment relations and compensation. Earlier in her career at YIT, she worked as an HR Specialist and Recruitment Coordinator. Tarja’s journey with YIT began as an HR Assistant and Production Assistant, where she handled various HR tasks and project cost control system development and support.
