Shawnee, Kansas, United States, September 2026 — Nazdar Ink Technologies has announced the appointment of Edward “Ed” Baiden as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 8, 2026. Baiden brings more than 25 years of global leadership experience across industrial, specialty materials, commercial and operational businesses, with a track record spanning strategy, transformation, P&L leadership, customer engagement and organizational growth.
Baiden joins Nazdar following his tenure at W. R. Grace, where he served as Senior Vice President – Strategy, Planning & Transformation. Reporting to the CEO of the specialty chemicals platform, he led enterprise strategy, capital allocation and transformation across global business units, while partnering with senior leadership on portfolio priorities, margin expansion and performance governance.
Previously, Baiden spent more than seven years with PPG Industries, progressing through several senior leadership positions. Most recently, as Vice President – Global Traffic Solutions, he held responsibility for a global business spanning 22 manufacturing sites across nine countries and approximately 1,200 employees. His remit encompassed operations, supply chain, commercial execution and capital investment. Earlier at PPG, he held leadership roles including General Manager – Light Industrial Segment, Marketing Director, Architectural Coatings, General Manager – Commercial Vehicles, and Global Director – Product Management, Automotive OEM.
Earlier in his career, Baiden served as Marketing and Market Development Director – Africa at GE, leading business development and strategic marketing for a major commercial portfolio supporting infrastructure opportunities across Africa. He also spent nearly 11 years with DuPont as Marketing & Strategy Director, holding senior leadership responsibilities across global industrial platforms and developing multinational experience across the United States, China and sub-Saharan Africa. His earlier career included marketing and operations leadership assignments with InterContinental Hotels Group, SC Johnson and Starwood Hotels.
As President and CEO, Baiden succeeds Richard Bowles, whose leadership at Nazdar has spanned more than 23 years. Bowles and Baiden will work together to support continuity for employees, customers, suppliers and business partners during the leadership transition. Baiden’s appointment comes as Nazdar looks to build on its century-long heritage while advancing its strategic vision, strengthening its portfolio and pursuing long-term growth opportunities across the global printing industry.
