Köpenhamn, Region Hovedstaden, Denmark, June 2024 – Fredric Svensson has joined A.P. Moller – Maersk as the new Head of People Technology. With a robust background in human resources and technology, Fredric is set to lead the company’s people technology initiatives.
Fredric Svensson has been with A.P. Moller – Maersk for over two years. Before his current position, he served as the Innovation & Architecture Lead People Platform for a year and a half, and as the People Talent and Learning Tech Lead for over two years. His responsibilities included leading the development of people platforms and talent technologies.
Prior to joining A.P. Moller – Maersk, Fredric worked at Sony for almost nine years, where he held several key roles, including Head of HR Consulting, Director and Head of Global HR-ES Advisory Services. At Sony, he was responsible for strategic direction, global HR programs, and the implementation of HR technologies. He played a crucial role in the Global Harmony Program, which aimed to create a global HR platform with standardized processes.
Before Sony, Fredric had a significant tenure at Sony Mobile Communications, where he managed strategic global HR projects and led business IT solutions. His career began at Tetra Pak, where he worked as a Project Manager for seven years.
