Europe, August 2026 — NextPharma has appointed Yuliyana Manolova as Business Development Director. Manolova brings more than 15 years of international experience spanning pharmaceutical business development, contract manufacturing, distribution, clinical trial supply, commercial strategy, and client relationship management. In her new role, she will focus on developing NextPharma’s oral solid capabilities.
Before joining NextPharma, Manolova served as Head of Distribution and Clinical Trials Supply at Zent2U, Zentiva, from October 2023 to November 2025. She has also worked as an independent Business Development Consultant at Abitality, further extending her experience across pharmaceutical commercial development and strategic growth initiatives.
Previously, Manolova spent more than four years with ACINO in Switzerland, progressing from Business Development Manager – Contract Manufacturing to Director Business Development – Contract Manufacturing. In her director role, she was responsible for defining and implementing the organic growth strategy for new B2B clients across oral solid dosage contract manufacturing operations spanning four manufacturing sites in Switzerland, Estonia, and Ukraine. Her work covered sales, opportunity development, RFQ processes, CRM implementation, marketing strategy, and collaboration with technical, quality, engineering, and regulatory teams.
Earlier, Manolova held business development roles with Alta Pharmaceuticals, where she worked on portfolio development, product pricing, client acquisition, sales, and commercial analysis. Her earlier professional experience includes serving as Founder of Alfiani Art Dealership and Gallery Ltd. and as an Audit Associate at PwC, where she worked on assurance assignments involving companies across several industries, including pharmaceuticals.
Manolova began building her international business experience through roles and internships that included the European Business Association Cambridge, UniCredit Bulbank, and Bayerische Landesbank. Her career combines commercial, financial, and pharmaceutical industry experience with particular depth in oral solid dosage manufacturing, CDMO business development, B2B partnerships, distribution, and clinical trial supply. At NextPharma, she will apply this experience to support the continued development and commercial growth of the company’s oral solid capabilities.
