Ulverston, England, February 2026 — IFGL has appointed Helen Thornton as its new Chief People and Culture Officer, strengthening its commitment to building a people-led culture as part of its ongoing growth journey.
Helen will join the firm’s executive team and will focus on enhancing the experience of colleagues and customers, while also supporting the wider communities in which IFGL operates. Her mandate underscores IFGL’s emphasis on aligning culture, engagement, and performance as key enablers of sustainable growth.
Helen brings significant senior leadership experience to the role. She previously served as Chief People Officer at IWP UK and as UK People Director at Lowell, where she led people strategy, organizational transformation, and culture-building initiatives across complex business environments.
