Bangalore, India, June 2024 – The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) has announced the launch of a three-year Online Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Digital Business & Entrepreneurship (DBE), beginning in September 2024. This innovative program aims to address the growing demand for young professionals in the rapidly transforming digital economy.

IIMB’s new BBA program leverages its expertise in teaching entrepreneurship, delivering online management education, and its strengths in AI and analytics. “We have crafted the program with a strategic focus on accessibility and affordability,” stated IIMB Director, Prof. Rishikesha Krishnan.
Program Details and Admission Criteria

Curriculum Design and Delivery
IIMB, recognized nationally and globally as a leader in management education (NIRF rank #1 in Management & National Coordinator in Management for SWAYAM), will design and deliver a curriculum focused on management in Year 1 and entrepreneurship and digital business in Years 2 and 3. The program adopts an integrated model across digital technology, entrepreneurship, and business management.
Aligned with the National Education Policy and UGC Guidelines, the program uses a stackable approach with specific outcomes at the end of each year: a Certificate in Year 1, a Diploma in Year 2, and a BBA Degree in Year 3. Creative mechanisms will sustain engagement and flexibility in digital learning.
