Miami-Fort Lauderdale Area, United States, June 2025 – Jackie Chanin has taken on a new leadership role as Vice President, Talent Acquisition, US, Canada, Mexico and Caribbean at American Express. In this role, Jackie will spearhead the organization’s talent acquisition strategies across key regions, leveraging her deep HR expertise to drive recruitment excellence and support the company’s ongoing growth and transformation.
Jackie’s journey with American Express spans over seven years, where she has held several progressive leadership positions. Most recently, she served as Vice President, HRBP Global Merchant and Network Services, overseeing human resources business partnering for the Global Merchant and Network Services division. Prior to this, Jackie was Vice President Human Resources – US Markets, where she contributed to talent strategy and HR operations across the US, and also held the role of Human Resources Director in Sunrise, Florida. Her extensive background at American Express has equipped her with robust insights into both the organization’s people strategy and broader business objectives.
Outside of American Express, Jackie has made significant contributions as an HR Advisory Board Member at Nova Southeastern University for over seven years, providing guidance and leadership to the next generation of HR professionals. She also served as a Board Member at Rose Acre Farms, further broadening her experience in governance and strategic HR.
Earlier in her career, Jackie was Director of Human Resources at TeamHealth, building on her HR management experience that included roles at Paychex, Sonesta International Hotels, and Boston Properties (BXP). Her early journey included hands-on roles as a Human Resources Representative, Coordinator, Intern, and Consultant, giving her a comprehensive foundation in talent management and organizational development.
