Career Journey of Jacob Krug:
Jacob has been promoted to Vice President of People Operations, building upon his tenure as Senior Director of Total Rewards. In his new role, he aims to enhance team member experiences by integrating technology and insights, focusing on workforce health, happiness, and productivity. During his time as Senior Director of Total Rewards, Jacob was instrumental in refining Pilot’s compensation programs, aligning them with company goals, and optimizing HR processes.
Jacob joined Pilot in September 2021 as Director of Compensation, leveraging his previous experience from Sprouts Farmers Market where he held roles such as Director of Total Rewards, Director of Compensation and Talent Management, and Senior Manager of Compensation and Performance. His tenure at Sprouts was marked by the management of comprehensive compensation programs, talent strategies, and HR support initiatives. Before Sprouts, he worked in equity plan administration roles at Banc of California and Solium, adding depth to his expertise in HR and compensation management.
Career Journey of Dawn Towe:
Dawn has been promoted to Vice President of People Partners and Places, where she will lead efforts to align Pilot’s HR initiatives with business goals, ensuring a safe and engaging workplace. Prior to this promotion, Dawn served as Director of Human Resources – Strategic Operations at Pilot for nearly 12 years, where she played a critical role in advancing HR strategies, improving employee experiences, and driving operational success across the organization.
Before joining Pilot in December 2012, Dawn had a 15-year career with Target, serving in various HR leadership roles such as Group Leader, Senior HR Business Partner, Regional Campus Recruiting Manager, and Executive Team Leader – HR. Her experience at Target was defined by comprehensive HR management, team development, and pioneering campus recruiting initiatives.
