Atlanta, Georgia, United States – November 2025 — James Neal has started a new position as Vice President People at Mission Critical Group (MCG), where he leads the complete people function for the Electrical Equipment Center of Excellence. In this manufacturing-driven role, he partners closely with Central Operations to advance HR strategies that strengthen operational capability, workforce effectiveness, and organizational performance across the enterprise.
James most recently served as Vice President Human Resources at Comcast NBCUniversal, where he contributed to key people initiatives supporting business transformation, talent development, and employee engagement. His work strengthened HR delivery across one of the world’s largest media and technology companies, demonstrating his capability to influence leadership, drive strategic alignment, and shape people-first cultures.
Before Comcast NBCUniversal, James worked with NVA Compassion-First and National Veterinary Associates as People Partner, Human Resources, contributing to talent management, retention strategies, coaching frameworks, and organizational development. He played a central role in shaping HR processes that improved employee experience and operational consistency across healthcare and veterinary service environments.
Earlier, James built a robust foundation at Carter’s Inc., where he served as Vice President Human Resources and Senior Director Human Resources, partnering closely with distribution and omnichannel leadership teams. His earlier career includes significant leadership responsibilities at Macy’s Inc., where he held multiple senior roles—Vice President, Omnichannel Support, Vice President Security Monitor, Director of Policy and Initiatives, and Vice President Store Manager—shaping strategic initiatives, compliance frameworks, loss prevention oversight, employee engagement, and operational excellence across large-scale retail operations.
In the early part of his career, James gained extensive experience in leadership, compliance, and loss prevention through roles at Lazarus, Macy’s Central, and the Urban League – AADLP, strengthening his expertise in coaching, business strategy, and employee engagement. His broad exposure across retail, distribution, media, healthcare, and manufacturing positions him strongly to lead the people agenda at Mission Critical Group.
