Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, June 2024 – Jehad Alaskar has joined the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry as the new Chief Human Resources Officer. Jehad brings over 20 years of extensive experience in human resources and strategic leadership to this new role, ready to enhance HR functions and initiatives within the organization.

Jehad Alaskar has been with the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry for two years. Prior to his current role, he served as the Human Resources Director for over two years, where he was responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, managing organizational structures, and establishing compliance-focused HR policies. His contributions included leading talent management processes, coordinating training programs, overseeing performance assessments, and driving professional development and succession planning.

Before joining RCCI, Jehad spent nearly 15 years at the Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST), where he held various HR roles, including Talent Development Director and Senior Human Resources Specialist. He was instrumental in developing talent development strategies, creating diverse learning interventions, assessing organizational skills gaps, and collaborating with senior leadership to identify and groom potential leaders.

Earlier in his career, Jehad worked as an HR Specialist at the Saudi Food & Drug Authority for over two years, where he developed and executed tailored training programs, implemented evaluation methods, and administered scholarship and education assistance programs. He also served as a Recruitment Supervisor at Almarai, sourcing high-caliber sales and marketing professionals internationally and coordinating the visa and immigration process for selected candidates.

The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) was established in 1381 A.H. as a non-governmental organization, in accordance with a special system, and belongs to the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce & Industry. RCCI is a non-profit organization that provides support and special services to private firms operating in the Riyadh area. Companies pay annual subscriptions to receive numerous services and benefits offered by RCCI, which plays a vital role in facilitating business operations and growth within the region.
