Herndon, Virginia – November 2024 – Jennifer Parlato has been named the new Vice President of Human Resources for Amentum’s Intelligence & Cyber Business Group, where she will lead human resources strategies that align with the group’s growth objectives, supporting employee engagement, leadership development, and workforce planning initiatives. With her extensive experience in HR leadership, Parlato is set to play a key role in enhancing Amentum’s talent management framework to meet the demands of its Intelligence & Cyber operations.
Before this appointment, Jennifer served as Senior Director, People & Culture at Amentum, where she contributed over three years of strategic HR leadership, focusing on employee engagement, talent management, and organizational design. Her efforts significantly improved organizational effectiveness and fostered a culture of inclusivity and growth.
Prior to joining Amentum, Jennifer was a Human Resources Director at SAIC, where she collaborated with the leadership team across multiple business lines, including Defense & Intelligence and Civilian Markets. Her role also involved supporting the transition of Unisys Federal into SAIC after an acquisition, further underscoring her expertise in organizational integration.
Jennifer’s earlier experience includes her tenure as Senior Director of Human Resources at Unisys, where she was a member of the senior leadership team for Federal Systems. In this role, she led the development and implementation of HR policies and practices aligned with business objectives, bringing a comprehensive approach to HR operations and resource management.
Additionally, Jennifer has a long history of HR leadership, previously serving as Director of Talent Management at TASC (later Engility), where she spent nearly a decade creating talent strategies that supported various account plans and business group objectives. She also held several HR roles with Northrop Grumman, where she contributed to talent development and HR business partnering within the IT and TASC sectors.
