Hyderabad, Telangana, India, December 2025 — Sekhmet Pharmaventures Pvt. Ltd. has appointed Jitendra Jalan as Chief Human Resources Officer, marking a significant leadership addition as the organization continues to scale its pharmaceutical investment and manufacturing platform across India.
In his new role, Jitendra Jalan will lead the overall human resources strategy for Sekhmet Pharmaventures, supporting workforce integration, talent strategy, and organizational effectiveness across its portfolio companies. His appointment comes at a pivotal stage as the organization strengthens its presence in API and formulation manufacturing aligned with global supply-chain realignments.
Prior to joining Sekhmet Pharmaventures, Jalan spent over six years with USV Private Limited, where he served as Vice President – Human Resources. During this tenure, he headed HR for eight manufacturing plants and led corporate talent acquisition, overseeing a workforce of approximately 4,000 employees. His role covered strategic workforce planning, plant HR leadership, and talent initiatives across USV’s pharmaceutical and consumer products businesses.
Before USV, Jalan spent more than seven years at ACC Limited, part of the Holcim Group, where he held the position of General Manager – HR. At ACC, he led HR for the Technical Centre of Excellence and Central Procurement divisions, supporting high-value procurement operations and large-scale organizational change initiatives across 35 locations in India, including HR transformation at one of the world’s largest cement plants.
Earlier in his career, Jalan worked with Endress+Hauser Group as Assistant General Manager – HR, where he played a key role in establishing HR processes, performance systems, and leadership development frameworks for the Indian operations of the Swiss multinational. He began his HR leadership journey at Astral Glass Private Limited, where he managed HR operations, executive support, union engagements, and large-scale plant expansion initiatives.
